I have been coming to this place for some years now... the food is very TASTY...the prices have gone up quite a bit though...that would be my chief complaing... nearly $20 for example for a cube steak rice plate... and rice plates as we all mostly know, are generally a rip off because you're paying out the hiney for a super small portion of the main entree (meat) and then getting a plate full of "French" rice in this case...which by the way IF you wanna upgrade to garlic noodles, its ***$3****!!!!! That's jus absurd, knowing the cost and ease of preparing noodles...it's insane. But these are the times we live in, thanks to Biden's admin that have led to massive price increases of everything everywhere in this country. So it is what it is. That all said, the food IS pretty tasty...their Tom Yum, is great...their Pho Dac Biet is good, it's all very tasty...just expensive, so can only eat occasionally as a splurge. The service is pretty good, the staff are mostly friendly. Lately though they've been falling behind in having online orders ready on time...last time i waited almost 20-30 minutes past my scheduled pick up time for a fairly simple order of 2 dishes and an appetizer...the usual we get, and they weren't even busy...they had like 3 tables going in the restaurant, so not sure what the deal was there, but would be nice to get my food when it's scheduled to be picked up... but in fairness, this is a more recent development...they used to have everything ready in minutes...so hopefully that day was just a fluke... But if you like Thai/vietnamese/burmese dishes, then this place is recommended, IF you can AFFORD it.

Red Chili has some really awesome lunch deals that make it all worthwhile if you happen to come during the week. They have a lot of vegan friendly items which made me happy. While they aren't clearly marked anymore on the menu (minus the vegan egg rolls), you can ask the staff to make the item vegan and it's usually not an issue. I went with the Tofu Green Curry Lunch Special ($15) which included a small vegan-friendly soup, salad, rice, and main. The curry I had was very flavorful with lots of tofu and veggie pieces included. The soup was a nice touch so next time, I'd probably order a different main to offset having so much liquid during my meal. I also ordered their Vegan Egg Rolls ($9) which came with six half-pieces of fried taro, vermicelli noodles, and veggies wrapped rolls. Loved these! They also do Thai Iced Tea with boba ($6) and were able to use coconut milk to make it vegan friendly for me. Service was friendly but there wasn't much checking in after we received our food. You pay up front and get any to-go containers there. Overall, very happy with our meal and would come back again. There is very limited parking in front but they have a small lot in the back that can be used.

What a terrific place! Vietnamese and Thai! And both are done well. We really enjoy the food in general. The okra was a bit overdone but otherwise you have to note that they mean spicy! So for us mere mortals, even medium is quite good. Service is always awesome and it is a bit of a fine dining ish atmosphere with very nice art on the walls.

I've been coming here for years. I first found them in fremont/newark area and just loved the flavors of their Thai food. Unfortunately they closed but still had their original location off mission. It's a bit of a drive getting there due to Bay Area traffic lol but we love coming here to eat great food. Owners are always super kind. Always clean and never felt like anything was dirty. My favorite is the ChooChee fish and the Green Curry. So good! Not sure why it took me so long to review, but thank you and see you all again soon!

This Thai & Vietnemese restaurant does not disappoint! They have a wide selection of food & all of it is so yummy! Staff is friendly, there is a lot of seating available, and prices are reasonable. This restaurant is on a busy street in a small lot so parking can be hard at times but it is worth it!

Went here after a while and was pleased to see the same great service and spice levels with the good. We got the choo chee fish fillet which had a red curry base and a chicken pad-phed with the hot spicy level. Note - this is seriously spicy! Portion sizes are generous and had a good helping of protein in the dishes. Accompanied with a side white rice which has to be ordered separately, this was much needed with the dishes we ordered. Good to see this place doing well, and we will continue to be back here!
